Leadership with Seth
I’m failing at telling a story about my goal. I lack clarity in what goal I’m looking to make and whom should I communicate it with. What is my goal? And Who are the people that are ready to hear it?
After refection here’s is what I came up with:
My goal is to offer artist and craftspeople a sound place to get information and inspiration on how to transform from starving artist to thriving freelancer. The main point is how to become a freelancer and not an entrepreneur. Too many artists are getting caught up in a capitalist idea that they need to monetize their art into a business. This does not have to be the case. I look to give them the information required to build a side-business that uses their developed craftsman skills to sell products or service that puts food on the table and supports their art, not selling-out the thing that brings them purpose.
Build a vibrant online community of artist that support each other with smart business advice to build side-hustle that don’t sell out their art. Connect the best of the art world that are struggling to make enough money, and feel pressure to sell out their art for a quick buck. Instead of selling out they need the support network to create a side business that makes use of their craftsman skills and develop a network of “1,000 True Fans.”
Support artist in how to build a vibrant career without letting capitalist ideas destroying their art.
Build a vibrant online community of artist that are looking to develop a side-hustle so they can thrive as creatives.
